I had a more difficult time finding Immersive Education friends in second life. I friended lots of people from the Immersive Education group, people whos born on date was recent, thinking that they would be some of the student from the Web 2.0 class and the Discovering Computer Graphics class. None of these people were online though. Next I went to the immersive education group and clicked on more info. Here I found a list of all the people in the Immersive Education Group, I was able to sort them by date they were last online I was able to find some friends to chat with. Flimsey Freenote (built schools and taught for some universities)he also told me about searching for live music on SL, Jennette Forager (she was a teacher of second life and other virtual reality worlds). Maddy (owns an publishing island in second life she has written 2 books and pdf's on marketing and sales and teaching on secondlife, she also sells equipment and advises companies on educationa and create educational systems for companies like doctors and nurses simulations) All were very interesting. below are three more screne shots of me chatting with these people.
I started out on help Island looking for friends thinking I would find other new people here and be able to chat with them and tell some people about IE, lots of times they just ask because they see it above my name and wonder hey whats that mean. The first person I spoke with was named Amarian. Above his name it said president of SL. I told him about my class, he wished me good luck.
Far right is the guy who said he was the president of SL it said such above his name.
The guy in the black shirt was named Loner, I made friends with him and chatted for a bit, telling him a bit about our class and IE on SL. I also told him about some of my favorite places on SL, like boogie beach.

Casablanca Island- There is an actually dress code on this Island at night, seemed like a night spot for sure. On accident I changed my name abouve my name here and had to figure out how to change it back, they offered for me to join their group so I did but it changed my Immersive Education to their group name. I met Aneeta here she offered me to be in the Islands group.
ahhh i found my paradise on this island, but no peole to chat with unfortunately.

I thought if I searched for an online college, i would find other student to chat with. So I checked out St Leo University, but no one was there. Even the receptionist wasnt there, there was a button to page her tho, funny.
These fellas I tried to friend but they didnt speak English..probably better off they looked a lil bit shady. One had a gun

This guys was interesting he was an online gamer, I could tell at first becasue he had things above his head that suggested such, so I approached him and chatted about his game, but then he told me it was all Italians..very strange becasue his SL last name was Irish..lol
This pic was taken in the Fermi sandbox, I went here becasue I figured that alot of people would be in here building or somthing, I didnt speak to this person who leaves pawprints but I thought it was totally awesome!
Finally I found soemone to chat with (Hamarian)and tell about Immersive Education, although after we said goodbye he later contacted me. He was involved with some type of ballroom he sent me the landmark. I friended him, but now im considering unfriending him. But i feel bad.
