Occlusion: Below the umbrella is covering things in the distance, so it appears to be closer, and gives an illusion of distance, same goes for my avatar, it is in front of the chair but behind the table. This layering of objects gives the look of whats nearest and farest away. In the water slide picture the slide is blocking things in the distance and my avatar is blocking the part of the slide that im sitting on, and the other side of the slide is blocking part of my avatar, because I am in it.

Atmospheric Pressure: The following two pics demonstrate atmospheric pressure. The closer the beach loungers and ocean rafts are the clearer and sharper and bigger they are. The further and further away they get the blurrier they get.

Linear Perspective: At first this picture is probably hard to figure out what it is. My avatar is standing at the base of the lighthouse looking up into, and thru it to the top. Because of the angle you cant see all the way to the top because it disappears into the center. The sides merge together the higher up or further away you look.

Lighting and Shading: The lighthouse from a far. Notice the light difference on the left side its brighter and the right is shaded. This is showing an example of lighting and shading.

Texture Density: Below the bricks of the lighthouse show texture density because the further away they get its becomes harder to see the brick pattern.
